Day 01: Delhi Arrival
Arrive Delhi –Meet at airport and transfer to hotel for some rest. Later will start a half day city orientation tour covering few monuments from outside. Visit to few famous Sikh Temples and Hindu temples will be part of the orientation. Overnight stay in Delhi.
Day 02: Delhi – Jaipur – 260 kms/6 hours
Post breakfast start your day with the Old Delhi area with Red fort from outside, Jama Mosque and Raj Ghat. Here Rickshaw ride is recommended. After lunch visit the Delhi’s pride Qutub Minar, Humayuns Tomb Presidents house Parliament & India Gate will be a pass by. Later proceed to Jaipur. Arrive Jaipur overnight stay in hotel.
Day 03: Jaipur
After breakfast proceed to Amer fort 16th century majestic red sandstone and white marble fort, you can take elephant ride one way or trek to the fort. Next, Jantar Mantar, an astronomical observatory housing world’s largest stone sundial. Then, Hawa Mahal or Palace of Winds, an exquisite 5 storey building with over 900 ornate windows can be done from outside as well. Overnight Jaipur.
Day 04: Jaipur
Day to visit city Palace the residence of royal family followed by Monkey temple and the local markets. Evening visit Chokhi dhani. Overnight stay.
Day 05: Jaipur –Agra – 250 kms/5 Hours
After breakfast checkout and proceed to Agra visiting Fatehpur Sikri enroute. Arrive Agra check in at hotel. Evening free to explore city on own. Overnight hotel.
Day 06: Agra –Delhi -200 kms/4 Hours
Have morning tour of Taj followed by breakfast and visit to the Red Fort. After lunch drive to Delhi. Arrive Delhi check at hotel close to railway station. Overnight.
Day 07: Delhi –Amritsar –Train Dep 7 am Arrival 1 pm
Board the fast train for Amritsar. Arrive Amritsar transfer to hotel. Post lunch proceed toward Indo –Pakistan border to see the beating retreat ceremony. Back to hotel. Overnight stay.
Day 08: Amritsar –Delhi – Train Dep 1650 Arr 2315
After breakfast visit the Golden Temple, built during 1585-1604, the holiest shrine of the Sikhs. Next, visit Jallianwala Bagh, marks the site where hundreds of Indian pilgrims were massacred in 1919. Later on time board the fast train for Delhi. Dinner served on board. Arrive Delhi transfer to hotel close to railway station. Overnight hotel.
Day 09: Delhi –Onward destination.
Spend day on own shopping, visiting more places. Later as per your flight schedule checkout & proceed for airport for onward destination.
